Executive, E-Commerce 


Requirements
To assist the E-Commerce Technical Manager by being responsible for projects administration and support. Oversee the completion of projects tasks and monitor adhere to MAS project management process standards as well as participating in requirements gathering and analysis for all internal projects.
Task may include:

• To identify and perform detailed analysis on requirements for successful implementation of E-Commerce technical projects based on roadmap set by management.

• To ensure timely and quality delivery of approved E-Commerce technical projects and monitor adherence to MAS project management process standards.

• Documents activities and development feedback reports to communicate project findings and activities for stakeholders.
  

• Manage current contracted vendors agreements as well as managing appointments of new vendors through proper MAS governance.
  
  

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen up to 40 years of age.
  
• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/Computer Science/Professional qualifications or its equivalent from recognized higher institutions with at least 3 years of related experience.

• Previous experience in web related and/or E-Commerce environment as an Analyst.

• Previous exposure to the airline domain with experience in areas of ticketing, reservation and pricing.
  
  
• Possess knowledge of best practices for project management and business research.

• Familiar with SITA Air Transport solutions.

• Possess proactive work attitude, independent and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

To assist the E-Commerce Technical Manager by being the lead analyst in the requirement gathering and analysis for all related features to be implemented in the E-Commerce platform.
Task may include:

• To ensure timely and quality delivery of planned enhancements on MAS website and Internet booking engine (IBE) to support MAS online business.

• To identify and perform detailed analysis on requirement for successful implementation of enhancements in the E-Commerce platform based on top tier roadmap set by management.

• Participate in project delivery by assisting the QA team in drafting test scripts for detailed testing that is at sync with the requirements.
  

• Provide expertise in areas of code shares, interlining, ticketing, reservations, scheduling, inventory and fares. Also, able to identify new airline industry and Internet technology developments to ensure MAS stays competitive to meet online market demands.
  
  

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen up to 40 years of age.
• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/Computer Science/Professional qualifications or its equivalent from recognized higher institutions with at least 5 years of related experience.

• Previous experience in web related and/or E-Commerce environment as an Analyst.

• Experience in Object Oriented Programming (Java, Net etc).

• Familiarity on payment gateway integration is an advantage.

• Previous exposure to the airline domain with experience in areas of ticketing, reservations and pricing.
  

• Familiar with SITA Air Transport solutions.

• Possess proactive work attitude, independent and able to work under pressure.

Requirements

• Holder of basic license from either of the Malaysian DCA, United Kingdom EASA/CAA, New Zealand CAA, Australian CASA, Singapore CAAS, Brunei CAA or Hong Kong CAD.

• Type rated with at least 2 of the following Aircraft / Engines:

- B747 - 400 / PW4000 Engines • B777 RR Trent 800 Engines • A330 / PW4000 Engines.

- B737 series including B737NG / CFM Engine • ATR 72 with PW127.

• Minimum of 5 years experience.

• Aged between 27 – 50 years old (as at date of application).

• Possess the ability to communicate effectively at all levels as well as participate in a team-working environment.

• Added advantage for LAME who also holds additional aircraft type licenses on  B747 Classics B767 and A320.
